Terms of use
Paper only.
Trenches is a practice app. Everything you trade here is paper: play money that is never real, never yours to withdraw and never sent anywhere. Market information comes from providers and may be delayed or unavailable. Practice balances cannot be deposited, withdrawn or exchanged for cash. App Store membership fees and paper cash pack purchases are real payments and are separate from simulated trading.
Not advice.
Nothing in Trenches, including Toro, the Academy, the live feed, callouts from other traders or anything a user posts, is financial, investment or legal advice. It is education and entertainment. Real trading can lose all of your money. Practice results here say nothing about results with real money, and we make no promise of profit.
Your account.
You get one account, named by your handle. You are responsible for what you post under it. Keep it civil: no harassment, no scams, no impersonation, no illegal content. We can remove content or close an account that breaks these rules.
Copyright.
Only post what you wrote yourself or have the right to share. You keep the rights you have in what you post. If you believe something on Trenches infringes your copyright, send a written notice by email to mikaelprada18@gmail.com with the subject "DMCA notice". Our Copyright and DMCA policy lists what a notice must include and how to send a counter-notice. When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable the material and take reasonable steps to tell the person who posted it. In appropriate circumstances, we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. Copyright and DMCA policy.
Your posts.
When you post, you give us a limited license to store and show that post inside Trenches and on trenches.academy so the community features work. This license ends when you delete the post or your account, except for backup copies until those backups expire.
Age.
You must be 13 or older to use Trenches. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to buy an Elite membership or a paper cash pack.
Memberships.
Trenches includes six courses (Crypto, Stocks, Forex, Economics, Macro and Personal Finance), selected Library lessons and companions, paper trading, progress tools, the holder map and watched-trader alerts. Free includes up to 10 completed Toro replies per UTC calendar month. Learning paths unlock as you progress, and new quiz questions use the daily energy allowance. Elite includes unlimited learning energy, up to 200 completed Toro replies per UTC calendar month, battle reviews from Toro, the full Library and the additional Elite features shown in the app. An explained trader move or a battle review counts as one reply. Elite is the only membership on sale. A membership bought under an earlier plan can still be restored. Plan availability is shown before purchase; a preview does not activate paid benefits. Unused AI replies do not roll over. AI replies can be incomplete or incorrect.
Billing and trials.
Where available in the iPhone app, memberships are purchased through Apple. Before you confirm, the App Store shows the local price, billing period and any introductory offer available to your account. Trial availability and duration depend on the plan, the offer and your eligibility; a preview does not guarantee a trial. Planned offers may be shown before they are available to purchase. Previewing or saving a plan does not start a subscription, begin a trial or charge you. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. A purchased subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless canceled in your Apple subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends to avoid the next charge. A reminder is optional and depends on notification permission; it does not cancel the subscription for you. Web previews do not take payments. Manage Apple subscriptions.
Manage and restore.
Deleting your Trenches account or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple subscription settings. To restore access, use the same Apple Account and sign in to the Trenches account linked to the purchase, then choose Restore purchases in Profile settings. If that account was deleted or the purchase was never linked, automatic restoration may not be possible. Paper cash packs.
Where available in the iPhone app, you can buy a paper cash pack through Apple while signed in to your Trenches account. A pack is a one-time, consumable purchase: it adds a set amount of simulated paper cash to that account's paper balance and is not renewed. Paper cash from a pack is play money like any other paper cash. It has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money or transferred to another account or person, and can be lost in simulated trading. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. Apple handles payments and refunds under its own terms; if Apple refunds a pack, the same amount of paper cash is removed from your paper balance. Deleting your Trenches account removes paper cash you bought, and it cannot be restored.
Availability.
Trenches is provided as is. Market data can be late, wrong or missing, and the app can be down. We are not liable for losses or decisions based on the app.
Changes.
